Why Become a Member?

Here are some of the things we offer . . .

Member Show - Each year we dedicate a month to hanging and showing the artwork of our membership. Members can choose to exhibit or not, but we feel it helps to promote their name in the art world.

Holiday Expo - Members have the opportunity to show their art just prior to the holidays.

Art Retreats - We like to bring in large name artists from the area to put on a workshop or retreat for the membership . It promotes Art Knowledge and it’s FUN!

Artist Information Meetings - The AIM group, formed by our Education committee is focused on bringing things to the membership for educational purposes. We have a meeting every OTHER month on the 3rd Monday and see what they have found to share with us. Meetings are held in Peoria at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in the Hedberg room at 6:30 pm. (Handicap accessible)

Art Groups - There are several Art Groups formed that our members can visit (or join) once a month to sit and create with a group of peers, or ask questions educating them selves, or perhaps watch a demo by another member. Here are some of those groups.

Promoting Displays - When we hear that some of our members are displaying thier art, we help promote that exhibit. Please let us know if you or a member you know is exhibiting somewhere.

Special Events - Every now and then we throw in a special event. In 2023 we celebrated “Pi day” in March! You just never know what will pop up, but you can certainly count on our annual dinner in December!
